Renée Thibeault

As a late bloomer, I only discovered the immense satisfaction of putting deep emotions to paper with the help of water as a medium, while completing a BSC at McDonald College. 

An active member of several art associations, the Lakeshore Artist Association and the WestIsland Artist Association, I participate in various solo and group art shows in Montreal and surrounding areas. Always looking for new challenges and personal growth, I still delight in taking part in creativity workshops with fellow artists.  

I was twice awarded the first prize in the Amateur Watercolour category of the city of Pierrefonds Art Contest, and more recently the first prize as a professional artist. 

My passion for watercolour allows me to explore my inner self and to profoundly live the present moment. I am now a full-time artist and able to finally pursue my lifetime dream more earnestly.   

My artwork graces private collections across Canada, the US and in Europe.
